What is Fair Trade?

Fair trade is a global social movement based on 10 main principles:  environmental sustainability, fair wages, fair working conditions, creating opportunities for disadvantaged producers, building capacity of workers, gender equity, no child labour, transparency and accountability, fair trade relations and promoting fair trade.

Fair trade ensures a hand-up for producers in developing countries in over 52 countries, instead of giving a hand-out.  Buying products and services that are fair trade accredited ensures you quality products that provide social premium by giving back to communities.

What does organic mean?

Organic food and materials (such as organic cotton or bamboo) are produced using methods that do not involve synthetic materials such as pesticides and chemicals and are not genetically-modified.

Buying organic products is a healthier option for you and helps the environment we live in.
